I know what it's like to be stepped on and bullied, to be pushed past your limits. So if you can relate post it. Spread the message (just don't spam people with it). This is just a short story that came to my head and was influenced by thirteen reasons why. I hope you all like it. Constructive criticism is welcome.

To show true kindness, you should do good acts and expect no reward. No praise. And, most importantly, no personal gain.

It was hard. That's when I realized that feeling the other end of the tunnel where there was no light came the revelation that I needed to make my own. So, I made my own light. When things were hard and all I had was myself and the darkness, I realized that there was a light within me that I had. I needed to make a spark and I needed to comfort my own soul. Those tough moments happened even before 2013. I must have been in the dark so long, that I soon decided that I couldn't live that way any longer. I hope I never forget. I hope I never get rid of the detested state memory that I had to remind me, that now, I am here. I am here and still alive. I needed to remember that there are many more others around me who are in the dark and who need a helping hand. It's tough. I don't want to take it for granted. It took me this long to realize that I've been helped along the way, but it was in my darkest where I was all alone, that I realized I needed to reach out from my darkest to help those who may have needed it less than I did. Maybe they needed it even more, but my state was so difficult, that the daily basics of my life were the largest struggles and was the very pivotal moment when I realized, it's hard to be hurt and I didn't want anyone else to feel the way that I did. It was then and there, I realized, how to be really hurt and broken. So...I mended other people. ~~~~~ This book was an idea started 2013 and was dormant until 2021. ~~~~~

This is a short story collection about different people doing random acts of kindness. Now, I challenge YOU to do these. I will be too. If everyone did a few of these, everyone would be much happier. As an old fragile lady sits in her front yard torturing herself with her lost of youth she discovers something incredible. Through an unexpected incident with a young child she finally recovers something she'd precious thought. After years of equating happiness, joy and laughter to youth she finally realises that she is just as worthy to laugh and enjoy her life. Sometimes helping others is just another way of helping ourselves.
