There are six Celestial wizards who keep the balance, three light Celestials and three DarkCelestials. The dark and the light once broke out in war against each other. With neither one winning they finally settled on an agreement. The DarkCelestials had access to the Midnight Realm, while the light Celestials had the Starlight Realm. But the Midnight Realm hadn't been opened since 324 years ago, and they didn't intend to open it anytime soon. But that all changed when Layla Heartfillia had children. Layla was a mixture of a light and dark Celestial. Her Father was a light Celestial while her mother was a dark. Her first son inherited his Father's magic, while her two twin daughters inherited her magic. Lucy was a light Celestial while Seraphina was a DarkCelestial. Layla was always spending time with her two daughters and teaching them how to use their magic. While Jude was always so busy and never had anytime to look after his son or spend time with him. So Lucian spent most of his time in either the library or outside watching his Mother and his sisters. One day, Lucian found a book in the library about the Midnight Realm and the Starlight Realm which kept the balance. It said that if you wanted to gain access to either of these Realms, you needed to kill one of the Celestials who had the key to it. Lucian had never really been told the difference between good and evil. And so he unknowingly let the darkness consume him as he set out to kill his Mother... The full Prologue is in the book...

Lucy and Natsu just wanted to live a normal life, but when Natsu's brother disappeared he found himself dragged into a world of chaos; and when Lucy's sister went missing she found that she was being hunted. The two of them have to learn to accept one another as they run off together. To stay alive they have to cross many boundaries and commit many sins. But, if you want to keep living, then you have to kill those who want to kill you. There are many questions in life that cannot be answered, things are just how they are. But when the two cross paths with some of Lucy's old friends, there are many unanswered questions running through Natsu's head. Should they really trust them? What if they are lying? Are they enemies? But Lucy seemed quite comfortable and trusted them without a second thought, although Natsu felt something was wrong. Natsu had attempted many times to hint that they may be dangerous, but Lucy just waved him off. Getting annoyed at his stubborn blonde friend Natsu decided to drop the subject and let her find out for herself. But when he woke up one morning, he found that both Lucy and her friends were missing. There was no letter or any sign that Lucy had left him like she usually did when she left him. Just where was she?
