Every person is required from noon until 2 o'clock to be outdoors. Rule number 7. No pets allowed. Ever. Rule number 8. No hats on ladies. No boot heels. No black. Leggings to go underneath dresses or skirts are acceptable. Rule number 9. No public displays of affection unless it is between family. Rule number 10. Follow the rules. These are the rules. There's no paper that says them. No one knows who made them. They've just always been. Everyone follows them, the rules are never broken. But now, for the first time, Sun is breaking all the rules. And everyone is taking notice. Max, the mayors son, has known Sun all her life. He's seen her, it's hard not to, but now he's seeing a whole new side of her. And he wants to see it all.
