Here's a backstory for some of the key Socs from S.E. Hinton's The Outsiders: These backstories provide a glimpse into the complexities and inner conflicts of the Socs, showing that they, like the Greasers, grapple with their own personal struggles and challenges.

Wow, I'm posting a project for my Final Exam last year. Basically we had multiple options to work on a project for The Outsiders. I decided to write a journal for Randy. I thought it would be a more challenging character to do. Also throughout the book, he ended up being one of my favorite side characters. In this story I tried to make it as accurate to the story as I could. I did add another character and changed a few things since there isn't a lot to work with for all the information we get on Randy. (I know it isn't the best literate piece lol.) So enjoy! ^^

All of Tusla knew Bob Sheldon as a powerful, shitty soc, a lazy drunk and the richest kid in Tusla. He had it 'all'. Then Luna Meywink came to town, hopefully she'll change his fate.

Remember when we were kids, how no one was better than anyone else? There were no words or names that separated us, the only thing that mattered was that you had fun being around each other. Sometimes things never change. Candie Winston had never been a huge fan of change. But as it goes, she needs to deal with a lot of change, in a short period of time.
