Monday, May 25, 1970. Ponyboy's got plans to ditch Tulsa. He's convinced there's nothing here for him but a past he can't escape and endlessly being asked what he wants to do with his life. He doesn't know where he's going, but he does know he's gonna drive 'til the money runs out. Right before he plans to leave, he meets Randy again for the first time in years. While a little awkward at first, they realize they're more similar than they thought. Without much thinking, they decide to rush out of town together. But can you even really run away from your past?
