A year after Kion's coronation. Lion guard are patrolling in the Tree Of Life, when suddenly a group of rogue lions sneaks in and attack the Tree Of Life. When the Lion guard and Night pride defend their home, Kion suddenly gets hit by a lion and falls into a river where he hits a large boulder on his head. He wakes up not to remember anything. In this story Kion is not the Prince of Pridelands. He was actually the son of two lions named Simba and Nala who used travel around in search of a new safe home until one day , they died while protecting Kion from a pack of leopards. Kion somehow escaped from the leopards because of his parents and then started living alone in a forest alone without any friends. Until One Day, he helps a lioness named Rani, her Night Pride and her parents who are lost, to reach their home to the Tree of Life after which he learns that living with friends is much better than living alone.
