The Agency and the Port Mafia have made a deal which Mori intends to collect on, but of course not before letting the dread torment them for a month. A moth which Dazai spends spiraling as the majority of the ADA turns a cold shoulder to him after learning of his crimes and the imminent time he'll break his promise to Odasaku looms over him. And once he's finally settled in with his new (old?) family in the mafia who shall appear but a copycat organization bearing the dreadful name of Mimic, as if taunting him from beyond the grave about the broken promise. But is this merely a coincidence or is someone trying to lure him into a trap? Hello! I have returned with another fic, this time diving into the world of BSD featuring the genius detective himself, Ranpo Edogawa. ( I do want to clarify that your character does have a name and appearance/ look already established in the story; however, if you do not like it, then feel free to imagine yourself differently. It's just easier for me to write the story with a character already established, kind of like a placeholder.) Kumiko Amajiki's / y/n's life has been one huge unfolding story full of mystery, intrigue, philosophy, plot twists, drama, and possibly now romance? Ever since Ranpo Edogawa was introduced into your story, you were no longer reading about adventures and thrills but were now living them out for yourself. But not all stories end happily, and you, more than anyone else, know all too well that the smallest alteration can ruin a story's ending for good. Will you and Ranpo get to live happily ever after? Will Ranpo finally learn to appreciate the beauty in the process, or skip to the end of your story together as partners at the ADA, only to realize not even a genius can change a story once the ink is dry? This is a new Ranchuu story, where Chuuya has an avoidant attachment style and struggles with an eating disorder, while Ranpo has an anxious attachment style. Ranpo and Chuuya love each other deeply. Of that there is no doubt. The problem was never a lack of feelings; it was all they carried with them. The wounds of the past clung to them like shadows, turning something as simple as love into a daily battle. Because while Ranpo felt butterflies in his stomach whenever Chuuya smiled at him or got too close, Chuuya felt flies. An uncomfortable buzzing under his skin that told him to back off before he got hurt. It wasn't that he didn't love Ranpo. He loved him, more than he would ever admit, even to himself. But he had grown up in a place where love was seen as a weakness, where trusting someone meant handing them a weapon that could be used against you. He learned that depending on others was dangerous and that vulnerability was an invitation to pain. So every time Ranpo tried to get closer, Chuuya pushed away. Every time Ranpo sought comfort, security, or simply wanted to hear the words "I love you," Chuuya built walls so high that even he couldn't see beyond them. And that hurt Ranpo. Because Ranpo needed closeness. He needed to know he was loved, that he wouldn't be abandoned, that Chuuya wouldn't suddenly disappear without explanation. However, the more Ranpo sought that security, the more trapped Chuuya felt. It became a vicious cycle neither of them knew how to break. Perhaps they would never be a normal couple.

Y/n L/n never knew her biological parents nor did she ever really care to know them. She had loved her adopted parents and that was enough for her. But one day, when she decided to visit her parents and adopted brother, she discovers that he's gone missing.
