Ranpo decides to stay with Poe until the other has a healthy routine, leaving no room for protest. Even though, it might be a little uncomfortable at first, they find out to get used to eachother.

When his Dad gets a teaching job at an American University, Ranpo must move with them to the American state of Connecticut. Once there he starts his Junior year of high school at Manhasset Manor Academy, which is also attended by the children of the elite Fitzgerald Family. Four of them are Juniors just like he is, four are Seniors, and the youngest Lucy is a Sophomore. Lucy is wild and social and eager to make friends with the new student, but Ranpo is more curious about her introverted older brother. After a failed introduction, Ranpo becomes even more curious to find out all he can about Edgar, determined, if not to befriend him, then to beat him out for top rank in the next exams. But what will happen when he turns up something far more disturbing than just gory mystery novels and a strange obsession with Racoons?

Poe, an artist who paints murders - which he'd done, of course. Every painting was part of a gory collection he named "Ligeia". Ranpo, the (self-proclaimed, but the title itself isn't too far from the truth) best detective in the world, is set on solving these murders. This was one of his hardest cases yet. Now, what would happen if the two met, oblivious to each other's secret identities? (and maybe, just maybe fell in love?)

Will his brain start working after he comes across a lighthouse and a handsome man who sits on the rail of the top of it? ------ Like my previous fanfic-a bottle of ramune- I thought of this one on the spot. Ranpo was in his home room when he saw a letter on his desk that just seemingly appeared out of nowhere with a bloody knife sticker into it Ranpo looked at it in shock as he grabbed it and rushed to the bathroom to open it he took out the knife a little anxious by the blood. He took a piece of paper out of the envelope and started reading "notice me my dear Ranpo ♡" the note read with a drawing of a person he knew all too well. Mushitaro. The blood was his but why couldn't he think of the culprit was it Mushitaro himself or was it someone else? what the hell was going on!? why couldn't he just think and know of the culprit already!?

-long hiatus- (Currently fixing a few stuff and cringing😇) Karl,the raccoon Poe has been keeping,is now a child of his owner and Ranpo. Being hit by an ability that turned the raccoon into a human,he finally has a chance to talk to his owners and 'parents' of sorts while they try to find the ability user to turn him back into the animal he was. Will they have the heart to turn him back after spending so much time with him like he was their actual child though? --- Pure self indulgence. And also autocorrect make things sound terrible.
