[Highschool AU] ____ Osamu Dazai and Chuuya Nakahara went to the same elementary school, and had been in the same class. They often talked, as classmates do. But one particular day, Dazai said he was moving. He promised they would still be friends, but he never contacted him again. Chuuya thought he was just sick, but eventually days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months, and Chuuya finally accepted that he had no intention of reconnecting. Now Chuuya was in highschool and had long-since forgotten about his old friend, until a certain brown-haired boy walked through the door. Dazai had never expected to see the short ginger again, not after he left. -long hiatus- (Currently fixing a few stuff and cringing😇) Karl,the raccoon Poe has been keeping,is now a child of his owner and Ranpo. Being hit by an ability that turned the raccoon into a human,he finally has a chance to talk to his owners and 'parents' of sorts while they try to find the ability user to turn him back into the animal he was. Will they have the heart to turn him back after spending so much time with him like he was their actual child though? --- Pure self indulgence. And also autocorrect make things sound terrible.

Poe has gotten sleep deprived and now scolded Ranpo conciously.

When his Dad gets a teaching job at an American University, Ranpo must move with them to the American state of Connecticut. Once there he starts his Junior year of high school at Manhasset Manor Academy, which is also attended by the children of the elite Fitzgerald Family. Four of them are Juniors just like he is, four are Seniors, and the youngest Lucy is a Sophomore. Lucy is wild and social and eager to make friends with the new student, but Ranpo is more curious about her introverted older brother. After a failed introduction, Ranpo becomes even more curious to find out all he can about Edgar, determined, if not to befriend him, then to beat him out for top rank in the next exams. But what will happen when he turns up something far more disturbing than just gory mystery novels and a strange obsession with Racoons?

Ranpo yet again ran out of snacks, he needs to restock again, but everyone's busy taking care of their own errands except for one person.

Poe leaves his pet and assistant raccoon Karl in the care of the greatest detective in Japan, Ranpo Edogawa, for the day. Ranpo quickly noticed that Karl wasn't happy with his owner. Ranpo, being the positive person that he is, takes Karl on a date to cheer him up (and get the raccoon's approval to dating Poe). Note: kinda old fanfic that I decided to post on here one day that has no been proofread since the day I wrote it.

It starts with a flashback of Poe's love confession to Ranpo, then moving to a latter event of Ranpo being respected from finding out another case, then a weird fan coming up and kissing him. Ranpo feels disgusted and keeps cleansing his mouth as Poe comforts him.

Writers block...It's a curse to all authors in the world. Of course,that includes Poe who at the moment,was brain dead after creating tons of mysteries for his fans. Will his brain start working after he comes across a lighthouse and a handsome man who sits on the rail of the top of it? ------ Like my previous fanfic-a bottle of ramune- I thought of this one on the spot. This is a high school au (no powers) "What was that? You should really speak up ya know" Ranpo says a bit annoyed, looking in his bag and pulling out a hard candy to throw in his mouth. "Uh- yes sorry- I said how about a mystery novel" Poe repeats louder, flustered and a tad embarrassed. "A mystery novel huh? That's a great idea!" Ranpo says happily, clapping his hands. "Now tell me, what exactly do you have in mind?" Ranpo asks, adjusting his glasses as he looks at his screen. Ranpo is the top of his class and Poe looks up to him but also dislikes him because he views it as some sort of rivalry. Meanwhile Ranpo hardly realizes that Poe exists. In writers class, Dazai gets to selects pairs to work on making a book together. He pairs up the two That should be fun <33 (Disclaimer- I don't own any of these characters and also I apologize in advance for any ooc moments and plot holes. There will probably be a lot. Ranpo decides to stay with Poe until the other has a healthy routine, leaving no room for protest. Even though, it might be a little uncomfortable at first, they find out to get used to eachother.
