Well, she's that and Shuichi's childhood friend. When the Phantom Thief starts showing more and more interest in Kaede, Shuichi finds out she may be what they need to solve this case. After meeting Ouma, a boy with a rather unique gaze, Kaede finds herself spending more and more time with him and the Phantom Thief.
