I think just about everyone who follows me remembers my old TMNT2012 fanfics from 2016-2020. The era of the internet where everything was uwufied edgy and never ending shipping wars. This new au I have is loosely based off my old au. Very loosely. In this new book I will explain the differences between my 2018ish au and my new au. Also I will rant about other flaws I've seen over the years in other's aus. Since I am trying to make this au have structure and story telling there will be some things that may be triggering towards someone. I will always put trigger warnings at the beginning of each new chapter and near when it happens.

As the title says, just a bunch of oneshots of our favorite turtles. Some of these may or may not also just be stemming from my book series, 'To Be Fearless...' Those ones will have a special emoji next to it. Then, there was only him to save her from himself, though with a little violence and lots of yelling, her life was not cut short that night. No, it seemed to continue in the form of kind red brown eyes, green skin, and a purple mask. Together, an unlikely friendship starts, one making it his mission to keep one of his few friends alive, the other, attempting to keep it together for the first person to ever care for her. Life, for once in (Y/n)'s life seems to go well, considering the circumstances. She feels fulfilled, and tries, oh she tries so hard to stay alive for him, the nerd that care. There will be obstacles, there always are, but for a mutant ninja, and a teenager coming from a shattered home, these obstacles turn into challenges. These two teenagers must unravel a conspiracy that will thrust them into the midst of gangs, drug addiction, and enemies that will try everything they can to destroy this unlikely couple. Pain, death, and the clouds of depression will follow them both. Together, this mess of a friendship will turn into something better. Together, they are imperfectly, perfect.

Her eyes were blurred as her mind spun out of sheer rage. "Stop," she choked out, her entire frame shaking. "Stop trying to fix me." She flipped her hand and allowed the shards of broken glass to clatter onto the floor along with the shattered mirror. "If you break a mirror it stays broken, Leonardo." She sniffed loudly, wiping blood across her leaking nose. She stood there for a moment, fingers curling into fists, staring at the floor beneath her, waiting. For what? She wasn't sure. She didn't want to be held by him. That was a lie too. She moved towards the door, placing a hand on the frame as she turned to gaze upon his heart broken features.
