Leo is the oldest (19), followed by Raphael (19), Donatello (19), and Mikey (18). *Feel free to imagine the turtles in any of their versions but know I'll be describing them like their movie versions for the sake of realism. And April, Casey, and Splinter as their versions of the 2012 animated series, because that's what I'm the most used to.

Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo are four average teenagers; suffering in high school, hanging out with friends, going to the football games, and surviving puberty. They thought their lives were as normal as normal could be, but one event will turn their entire world upside down.

When Michelangelo dies opening the portal he expected to stay dead but is surprised by appearing in a new world where other turtles like them protect a version of New York from a wide range of enemies. Trying to find meaning in a life without his siblings, he finds himself involved in the battles that these younger versions of his family have daily and his family dynamics. When known energies begin to emerge and enemies from his past threaten this dimension, Mikey must join forces with the young turtles and his friends to prevent what happened to his world from being repeated in this one. Maybe then I will find peace

Splinter's death has been a hard shot for the turtles, who had to deal with sadness and nostalgia. One of them though, is silently suffering more than the others, and that's Raphael. He was the only one of the brothers who saw the father being stabbed and killed in front of his eyes, and the remorse for not acting faster is eating him from inside. Time has passed, and Leonardo, Donatello and Michelangelo started to move on, not realizing to leave their hot-head brother behind...who actually wasn't seeming to look like a hot-head anymore at all... Just one person is going to understand first what is bothering Raph, since she was just next to him when the tragedy happened. Will they manage to get their hot-head back? Or will he remain an empty, passionless shell forever?

Raphael can't make sense of how he caught feelings for 'Bee': a Smol Bean of the cinnamon roll variety. He finds himself in a constant battle of wills, trying desperately to maintain his tough-guy exterior while Bee unwittingly (and irritatingly) chips away at it.

It occurred to me that there must be many off screen mutants in TMNT, those whose stories will never be told. I wanted to write something about some of them, and what their lives and cultures might be like, before the Turtles and the Turtle madness came on the scene. This story takes place in the 2012 continuum.
