Long before the Shredder's death, there are two teenage girls who had normal lives with their families: Penelope "Penn" Gibson, and Cassandra "Cassie" Ray. Penn's younger sister Josephine, or Jojo, is a genius and an inventor. Violetta, or Via, is Cassie's younger sister, who likes to joke around, which annoys Cassie at times. The four girls' lives had soon change forever when one day, the Shredder kidnapped them and their families for Penn and Cassie's powers to be used in his evil intentions. Their parents bought time for their children to escape, but at the cost of their lives in the Shredder's hands. 4 years after the girls, Penn's older brother Edward and Cassie's little twin siblings Tucker and Stacy defeated the Shredder to avenge their parents sometime before four mysterious ninjas killed him, the best friends moved on with their (somewhat) normal lives. Penn and Edward work for their high school best friend April O'Neil, who knew Penn and Cassie's secret of them being human mutants. Cassie fights crime at night with her powers as a masked vigilante called the Night Mistress similar to the Nightwatcher (who is actually a certain red-masked turtle), unaware to everyone but Tucker and Stacy. Jojo keeps herself busy with building inventions as a living after she graduated from college. Via goes to night clubs to have lots of fun, sometimes inviting her sister and teenage best friends to join her, while occasionally hosting kids' birthday parties. Although Penn is more content than her siblings and best friends, she couldn't but help wonder one thing: is there more than one mutant in New York City? What will happen when she meets one of the four mysterious ninjas, who turns out to be more than who he is? And what will happen when Cassie, as the Night Mistress, encounters the Nightwatcher and starts to find love in him?

Miyuki or Miyu is a half Japanese and half French that lives in New York after she finishes college at the age of 18. She met Raphael by accident on her way back home from the local grocery store on his nightly routine as the Nightwatcher in the second year after Leonardo was sent away for training. She has been trained by Splinter to be a Kunoichi after her previous sensei passed away with lung cancer. She and Raph seemed to have gotten close after just two months and Mikey, Donnie and Splinter could see the blooming romance between them but the two just can't seem to find a reason or time to confess to each other. Now a new danger is approaching as monsters roam the streets of New York and it's up to her and the turtles to put a stop to this and find out the reason behind the attacks. She work a same as Rosalie. Amelia Vincent was a daughter of Rebecca Vincent who as a chief police. She work a same as Ariana. What will happen if they meet Four turtles when they follow Casey? After the whole 'Dropping a ton of mutagen canisters over New York' thing, there's been many cases of mutated animals and people that the turtles have had to face, and after not having any for a few months, they figured they've seen them all. But they're proved wrong when they hear of a report of something attacking sewer workers near their home, causing them to go and investigate.... let's just say, they find something very interesting.

Valerie was speechless. Literally. Having had her vocal chords damaged at a young age, she was mute. When she moves to New York, she had no idea what to expect. Especially four mutant ninja turtles in her apartment to reclaim a weapon she found in an alley. Since when had her life become fiction turned into reality? It's soon clear that Marie passionate ballet dancer with sarcastic nature isn't the enemy in disguise and the two befriend. However soon Marie needs to confront the past she has been running from for so long and Raphael may not like what she has hidden from him as well as everybody else..
