(aka "Alone?") I adopted this fanfic from @CartoonsAreAmazing. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel. Varian has been groomed and abused by Saporian Andrew since their jailbreak. After Princess Rapunzel and company return from their journey, they must defeat the evil separatists in order to save Corona and Varian. Soon after his father is freed from the amber, the young boy is taken into the care of Rapunzel and Eugene. The couple have come to view Varian as their own. They're determined to be whatever Varian needs as he heals from Andrew's abusive influence. But nothing ever comes easy for the little alchemist. A secret enlightens the child to a spectacular destiny. And a creeping evil is approaching, threatening to shroud Corona in eternal darkness and its eyes are unfortunately pointed at Varian. What will become of the teenage boy? Is he doomed to be swallowed in pain and loneliness forever? Or will the light be his greatest salvation? But when Chloe and Red went back in time and changed things to save their moms they changed things not only was the queen of hearts a good queen now but Maddox Hatter son of Mad Hatter became a villian and Eugene Fizherbert and his son Nathan were sent to the isle for a crime Eugene didnt even comitt because he was framed by old partners of his in his flynn rider days the Stabbington Brothers when nathan was little where he met Max hatter and he and max became a vk and freinds with hazel hook and the crew but nathan and his father never lost their hero ways and his kingdom knew he was innocent but what happens when vk nathan meets chloe charming and he gets some memories of the old timeline. Both have to face their inner demons and mistakes in order to save everyone from a threat that's much bigger than Corona. Aka my dream of a season 4 (but I don't work for Disney so I can be a little darker *insert manical laughter*) Rapunzel and Varian dual POV (Also, I do hope to draw their character designs eventually :)
