When the crew of the Enterprise lose most of their memories, they're left struggling to piece together what happened and who is in charge. Stranded with no communications in a remote sector, the crew divide as Team Riker and Team Picard face off against one another for control of the ship. Without computer records, they spend two weeks trying to piece together their lives. It leads to some unusual pairings - platonically, romantically, and antagonistically.
