Damian and Marinette grew up together in the League of Assassins. They were betrothed at the age of 6. When the attack constructed by Deathstroke happened, Damian was sent to live with his father, while Marinette was to live with a nice Parisian couple with the cover story of her living in the foster care system. They had no way to contact each other, until one of them found a way. Marinette and Damian are reunited, but there was a bump in their reunion. See how Damian handles this so-called bump in "Since the Beginning."

It was 5 years ago when I found her. She was dying of starvation. She seems as if she had given up on life. I laughed at that, but there was something about her that made me want to take her in. Her innocence was clearly seeable. Her beauty was as if she was merely just a sleeping child. I took her in. Nourished her and nursed her back to health. I cared for her, and upon my request, she joined the league. She was careless. She fought with a fire, a purpose, with a history. A history she would never speak of. She would tell me bits and pieces but refused to tell me her whole past. I resented her for this, but she always won back my love. My father never approved. I loved her and all he saw her as was a weakness to me. She wasn't a weakness. She strengthened me. She made me feel powerful she made me see the good in my father. He tried to make her leave. All she did was let out a laugh, whereas others shook in fear of the demon. I slowly found my self-falling for her deeper and deeper. And now, she's gone.

Dick Grayson never became Robin. Instead he took the name of Renegade. He had not one mentor, but many. Dick joined the light, and they each mentored him different skills to become the best villain. Deathstroke taught him Weaponry and Agility, Luthor taught him Business, Queen Bee taught him Manipulation, Joker taught him Destruction, Klarion taught him The Mystic Arts, Ra's taught him Control, and Savage taught him Power. But what would happen when Batman starts to take notice of the small suburban crimes that start to become larger? What would happen when Batman finds out that the small missing boy is now a feared villain? What happens when the small boy he once knew as an angel, becomes the most feared killer?
