Hazel and Frank live in 1794, long before the civil war and the fight for slave freedom. Frank: family moved from Canada to Virgina, so that they can own slaves and a plantation. Hazel: family has been slaves for several generations, and is determined to be the last. Both of them are on opposite sides of the social pyramid but they both have one thing in common; slavery to them is wrong and they are determined to tell others that. And they want to show that color doesn't matter, that blacks have feelings, and that love can be given to anyone.

Now i know Wattpad is used for fan fiction and stories, but i didn't know where else to put this. This book is about Me, a teenage girl who has to many thoughts for just her mind. Every chapter will have a new opinion of mine. I hope this book reaches teens and young adults who need it. These are just my opinions, if you don't like them THEN DONT READ THIS. This book will contain stuff like Self harm, mental health, violence, abuse, racism, homophobia, bullying, and other real world serious problems. I did not rate this mature because I don't want to limit who reads it, these are real world problems that need to have awareness and not be sugar coated.

It's the 70's! Queen, Zeppelin, The rolling Stones, bell bottoms, weed, Farrah Fawcett hair! It's awesome! Or it was. Until, Kimberly and Christopher fell in love. My daddy isn't okay with me being friends with what he likes to call an "Oreo" a person who has a black parent and a white parent. I am all he has left with being the only black kid in my class he depends on me for safety and friendship, and it is up to me to help him hide from the KKK.

Still Craves finds herself taking just as many L's as everyone else, especially when going out with Ziva and Kay. However, Private Kay is not even trying to hear that. Matter of fact, she ain't really checking for Private Ziva like that either, and is more than glad when Ziva opts not to join her and Craves on their club hopping adventure. And when that turns sour, she has no problem trying to calling their officer friend Constance. On the other hand, Private Ziva is just as elated to get rid of those two, because she got plans for the reception NCO, SSG Thomas. And Ziva plans almost gets derail when 1st Lieutenant Constance shows up. Luckily for Ziva , Constance doesn't put up a real fuss about her back tracking on their road trip. Mainly, because un be-known to Ziva, Kay, and Craves. Constance has a long term plans for them, that doesn't involve them getting deployed to Iraq. But first you have to witness, the young and dumb and syndrome, mix in with some nonsense foolery, and oh yeah, a bunch of middle fingers to anybody that they don't like.

Enough is enough. Our pain, our cries, and our need to be seen and heard resonate throughout this entire country. We demand acknowledgment and accountability for the devaluation and dehumanization of Black life at the hands of the police.
