On the day of Sita Haran, what if Shri Ram got separated from Lakshman too? On the cursed day of Sita Haran, after punishing Marich, Shri Ram returns to the hut, only to find it completely devastated and empty. There was none in the hut, neither Sita nor Lakshman. There were several inauspicious signs there along with some massive footprints, which suggests invasion and abduction. Initially he thinks that someone had abducted both Sita and Lakshman, but later on Jatayu informs him that Sita has been kidnapped by Ravan. But he knew nothing about Lakshman. Where is Lakshman?

After Dr Ram Raghuvanshi fails to save Meenakshi Vaishravan, her elder brother Dashanan Vaishravan threatens him! But instead of attacking Ram directly, he decides to target his weakest point. His men kidnap and abuse Ram's free spirited, loving and caring younger brother Lakshman, who was completely unaware of anything and leave him to die alone in a park (modern version of Ashok Vatika) Ram, with the help of his cop friend Hanuman, rescues Lakshman, who is almost dead by then! Now the war begins! Here Ram is Shri Ram and the Ravan's Lanka is the psychological trauma and the physical damage Lakshman faced during that night, which Ram must invade. To defeat Ravan here Ram has to get back his Lakshman! He is waiting with extreme patience, just as he waited for Mata Sita in Treta! And the war is not going on any battlefield here, nor they have guns as weapons. The battlefield is the whole world which Lakshman is scared of, and Ram must fight it with his mental skills, with Lakshman cooperating him, just as he did in Treta!

Then came the exile. When Ram, prince of Ayodhya, left for the forest with Sita and Lakshmana, the exile did not belong only to those who went with him. It also belonged to those who remained behind. Mandavi began those years as a sister and a wife - a young woman whose sister had been sent away for no fault of her own, and whose husband had chosen a harder path to atone for the sins of his house. But kingdoms do not pause for grief. While princes fulfilled their dharma in the forest, palaces still had to stand, households had to endure, and a kingdom had to be held together. By the time Ram returned, Ayodhya had changed. So had Mandavi. No longer only a sister, nor only a wife, she had become a daughter-in-law, a keeper of a fractured household, and a queen forged by waiting. This is the story of the exile as seen from the palace - of the woman history remembered only in passing, and of the fourteen years that changed her forever.
