In the golden age of Treta Yuga, when the winds of fate were still shaping legends, the feared and revered Ravana, King of Lanka, stood invincible. Feared by gods, admired by scholars, and unmatched in power, But far away from Lanka, across the fabric of time itself, in the 21st century, a girl fought a different kind of war. Brave and bright, with eyes full of wonder and a heart that longed for meaning, she died quietly in a hospital bed-claimed by cancer at just 21. Her last thoughts were not of sorrow but of questions unanswered. As her soul drifted from her body, she whispered, "There must be more..." And what if there was more and in a twist of fate, there paths cross, lives intertwine. With the memories of her past life she reincarnates maybe given a second chance at life for her or maybe even a second chance for a certain someone who maybe could be saved, could he be though? Warning: This is a completely fictional story where the fate of ravana is reimagined through an epic love that defies time and death. I know he is the villain but dont we all have that fantasy. No hate or No disrespect to anyone or culture. This is completely satire with my imagination. Enjoy the story, my lovelies. Love, •Nebula•

While Mahabharata's Bhagvad-Gita is taken as a philosophical guide, Ramayana's Sundara Kãnda is sought for spiritual solace; many believe that reading it or hearing it recited would remove all hurdles and usher in good tidings! Miracles apart, it's in the nature of this great epic to inculcate fortitude and generate hope in man for it's a depiction of how Hanuman goes about his errand against all odds. Besides, it portrays how Seetha, on the verge of self-immolation, overcomes despair to see life in a new light? With rhythm of its verse and the flow of the narrative this sloka to sloka transcreation of the canto beautiful of Valmiki's adi kavya - the foremost poetical composition in the world, Hanuman's Odyssey that paves the way for Rama to rescue his kidnapped wife is bound to charm the readers and listeners alike. Interestingly, as the following verse illustrates, it was the forerunner of the magic realism of our times - "Gripped she then him by shadow / Cast which Hanuman coast to coast, Recalled he in dismay then / What Sugreev said at outset / That one fiend had aptitude / To grip its prey by mere shadow." On a personal note, my paternal grandfather, Bulusu Thimmaiah-garu, like many in his time, was a life-long practitioner of Sundara Kãnda parayana (the epic's daily recital in part or full), whose spirituality could have providentially guided me in this, rather an effortless, trans-creative endeavour. Dedicated to - Childhood friends, Nittala Rama Rao, who envisaged that I transcreate in English this momentous episode of the adi kavya and Erramilli Rohini Kumar, who, besides encouraging me to undertake the challenge, came up with the book jacket besides Katlin Darnall of the World Public Library for the enriching editing."

Ramayana. An Indian epic that has lived through the centuries and has only grown even more in the process. An epic that shows ideal characters, many of whom we worship, and other characters from whom we learn what we shouldn't be at any cost. But one thing that has been a constant for many centuries now is the examples we give, referring to the epic. One of the most popular ones being "Be a brother like Rama." Not only is the Ramayana an enchanting tale of love and devotion, but it's also an equally magical example of brotherhood and affection. Brothers who stood with each other through thick and thin. Brothers who would readily sacrifice their life for the other. Brothers who would love the other, and support him when nobody else did. This book brings to you the Ramayana, but this time, the limelight is on the inseparable brothers. *** Disclaimer: Please do not read this book if you do not like humanization of deities. However, I can assure you that ALL relationships in this book are shown the way they're meant to be - no non-canon shipping. I can also assure you, that since I myself am a devotee of Shri Rama, that you will never have me intentionally writing anything against him, his real nature - the same goes for the others - Sita, Lakshmana, Urmila, Bharata, Mandavi, Shatrughna, Shrutakeerti, Dasharatha, the mothers... All of them will always get their due respect in this book. Secondly, I've followed the Valmiki Ramayana throughout. Some incidents may be revelations, as quite a few things are contrary to popular perception and other versions. Thank you! Fantastic cover designed by @Mochis4lifeq52627 <3

There is no need and logic to burn the effigy of someone who is dead centuries ago. The fact that every year we burn even bigger effigies is a symbol that the Ravana is still alive (in us) and evil continues to grow.

The Untold contexts left burried inside. Ramayana is an ancient Indian epic written sometime in the fifth century BCE about Rama, prince of Ayodhya who is exiled and then returns. The sage Valmiki wrote it in Sanskrit and taught it to Rama's sons, the twins Lava and Kush. It is a rather long poem, with approximately 24000 verses and is known as the Adi Kavya. (adi = original, first; kavya=poem) While the basic story is about palace politics and battles with demon tribes, the narrative is interspersed with philosophy, ethics, and notes on duty. This book states most of the facts that people are oblivious of. Cover credits- @hazelwolfx

Good and evil, two sides of the same coin. Two brothers, two angels, two demons. A chance to fall and to rise. War is coming and it's coming fast. Can a small group of hunters, alongside good and evil with a change of heart, so to speak, stop Armageddon or will the world as they know it end? And what comes after? It certainly won't be easy, between a missing soul and creatures of black blood on the prowl. [Seasons 3-5] *I don't own Supernatural. All credit goes to Eric Kripke. I only own Aneila (Elinor) and Ravana (Emelie).*

Rama went through a lot more than just what is known to most people. He smiled through adversity, but did that mean he was happy? What did he feel, as a child, when he achieved all his feats? When people hailed him? What did he feel like when he himself needed to exile his wife? When he needed to ask her to prove her purity? When he saw Lakshmana walk to him despite his order to him to protect Sita? When he finally killed Ravana? When he met his sons? This is an attempt to comprehend just that. (It's an attempt, also, to humanise Sri Rama and see him as more than just a king. It's to see his emotions behind the confident aura of an emperor. Please do not read further if humanising Sri Rama is something you're against. Thanks :)
