This book is inspired by the game that was made by Big Fish named; Mystery Case Files: Ravenhearst. The game was made in 2006. An 18th century manor sits alone in the woods of England. Its sinister past haunts its beautiful walls and the majestic architecture hides the secrets of its owner named Emma Ravenhearst and a mysterious gentleman named Charles Dalimar. When four people went missing inside the manor, Detective Cleo and her friend Detective Olly were asked by a very important person to solve this case of a lifetime whilst discovering why such an alluring home is so treacherous, deathless, fearsome, and unearthly. With only a diary with one page as a clue, the detectives are to find out why this place refuses to burn down to the ground.

Based on the hit video game from Big Fish. If you have not played the game, I recommend go playing it before reading this :) Rumors surrounding the Ravenhearst manor in Blackpool, England have been whispered for almost a century. The Queen of England wishes the Master Detective to investigate the claims of hidden secrets, odd locked doors and ghostly apparitions that have been permeating around the manor. The Master Detective is provided with the remains of a recently acquired diary belonging to Emma Ravenhearst, one of the former inhabitants of the manor, and is tasked to read all the missing pages to unfold the story.
