When she found a last-minute mistake in the mechanism that could possibly fail this mission before they even touch the ground, what did she do? She quickly ran to the dropship to save them all. Couldn't have 100 kids blow up, now would she? What she didn't expect just seconds after fixing it is was being locked in with 100 delinquents and a faux guard, and quite literally blasting off. Now she was completely out of her element. Why? She's a zero-g mechanic who works in space! Now she's on Earth with actual working gravity. Not to mention being surrounded by teenage criminals when she isn't one herself (kinda). Hell, she helped to send them there on Earth!
