This is a poem about suicide.

Long ago, two races ruled over the seas: Merfolk and Sea Monsters. One day, war broke out between the two races. After a long battle, the Merfolk were victorious. They sealed the Sea Monsters in a deep ravine with a magic spell. Many years later... Atlantis 201X Legends say that those who swim near the ravine never return. UNDERWATER

Red is part of the Gamma sector, which is a part of his city that is poor, mistreated, and overlooked. He lives in a small two room apartment with his brother, Jake, and his friend, Kaylee. He finds a newspaper from the Alpha sector with a strange article with his name, his actual name, in the newspaper. A name that he has told nobody but Kaylee and Jake. What does this mean? Red soon finds out...

Everything in this is pretty much made up. There are references to actual things, like where I live, stuff about me and my mum, and the Therian friend that I meet in this is actually based off of my friends Theriotypes and some chats that we had, with her permission to use them in this of course! (Sorry that's it, I'm bad at explaining stuff... Also check out the first Therian story too if you want!)

A look into the past teaches a valuable lesson.

A woman runs from everything. A songbird joins her from nowhere, singing colors and images. A whisperer finds the pair among a field of poplars and graves. A dark and vicious viper stalks them from deep in the earth. They must flee from the Viper, at any cost. They must reach their safe haven--Aeolia. On the way there, the woman and bird pass strange and foreign places--including the Bridge to Infinity, where they are blessed by the Mist; Canvas Valley, where they walk along Aeolian train tracks; Seasons' Spiral, where the seasons fight on an open savanna; Dreams' Lattice, home to a grand tamperer; and many more. Along the way, new creatures help the woman and bird. But every time the Viper comes close, they choose to run--until at last they can't any longer. They must fight or die. I don't want to just be something that is or isn't, because everything either is, or isn't something. Because of the betrayal of one, Ravine SwordCleaver's peaceful life in a farming village is shattered by Ravagers, an old enemy of the Seven Clans of Thathia. Her mother and father are taken captive as slaves by the betrayer, and Ravine makes a promise that she will come for them. But first, she has to locate her brother, who went missing in the aftermath of the raid. And it's not going to be easy, but Ravine wants nothing more than to get him back. And when she does, she's going after the one who betrayed them, to fulfill her promise to her family. Along the way she makes unusual friends, embitters enemies, and becomes known in her land as the Sword Maiden. The Sword Maiden is a clean, fun, adventuresome fantasy saga with swords, mysterious men, quirky characters, old-fashioned villains, movie-star worthy horses, and actual morals. It's realistic but with a dash of unrealism, as all great stories are, fun and also serious, and full of messiness. ..... Please note that I started writing this story in 2020, so the first chapters are not my best writing and I have improved. The cover was provided by Proverbs31_29 , whom is sadly not on Wattpad anymore that I know of. Updates are sporadic at the moment, but rest assured, I will not give up on this story! I enjoy its characters, world, plot, and readers too much to do that. The Sword Maiden is not a book, nor a series, but more of a saga at the moment. With all that said, please enjoy!

Animal rescuers in California stepped in to help a deaf dog who had fallen 100 feet down a ravine near his family's home. According to a Facebook post by the San Diego Humane Society, an officer arrived Monday after the 8-year-old Australian shepherd called Hobo went over the ravine as a fence was being built around his family's property.
