It has been weeks or months, but it felt like eternity since Loki has been pruned by his female version as he tried to protect Mobius. He was steeped in guilt. He couldn't let go of it. He couldn't let go of him. The only thing keeping them apart now was death...Or time. At first he thought saying he loved Loki was insane, but now he wouldn't find a better word to express his feelings for him. He could go to any place at any time, but he chose a place he figured Loki would need someone. It was the time that probably affected him most. 2011 in Asgard, when he had found out about his parentage.

"I'll kill Loki!" Maybe in hindsight, Mobius promising to kill the Variant he had grown unreasonably attached to was a bad idea. He had been told he had an affinity for broken things. And maybe that was true- after all, he had placed faith in Loki, only to be stabbed in the back. But he had also been told that he never gave up, so he wouldn't, even if that meant putting everything he had ever worked for on the line. Or The aftermath of Loki stepping through that portal featuring sarcastic banter, lots of angst, actual representation, two idiots falling in love, and maybe, just maybe, some jet skis.

(This is a rough rough draft, please excuse any poor plot points or conversations. I plan to revise this at a later date and improve it!) (AO3 will always be updated first!) Loki can only recall one friend his entire existence, her name was Amora. She was as powerful as she was ambitious and she made him feel wanted among the many warriors that flooded Asgard's hall. The shadows didn't seem as large with her around, but one day, she vanished. Loki never knew why or how but all he knew was that he was alone once more. Fast forward about a thousand (give or take) years later and Loki is captured by the TVA, an organization that monitors the proper flow of time. Agent Mobius needs Loki's help in capturing a fugitive that has been disrupting the flow of time. That fugitive...is Amora.

Alabama, 2050. That's when Loki was finally going to to prove himself. It was him who found out that this inferior version of himself was hiding there. Now he just had to stop him. But it actually wasn't a him and he wasn't actually going to stop the female version of himself that day. But if he lost this, he would win something else or...someone else. But wasn't he destined to destroy everything around him? And hurt and kill people? This is a story based on the Loki series. It's about what could've happened if Loki didn't go with Sylvie that day and Mobius and him had actual feelings for each other. Keep in mind that I started writing this before episode 3 came out and that it's my first fanfiction. Anyway, enjoy reading! ^^
