I'm not a poet. I'm just a 17-year-old writing down the things I don't know how to say out loud. This is a collection of poems about school, family, growing up, and the kind of pain people don't notice because you're "too young" to be this tired. It's about being compared, being ignored, being told you're fine when you're really not. About smiling in public and breaking down when you're alone. Some of this is messy. Some of it is angry. Some of it probably shouldn't be shared-but it's real. If you've ever felt invisible, misunderstood, or like you're carrying more than you should be at this age, maybe you'll see yourself here. Content Warning: Mental health struggles, self-harm awareness, family issues, emotional distress.

A collection of poetry written by 18-year old, Kylie Cooper. Even though most of it has been written for assignments in her creative writing class, they all come straight from the heart. Don't let that fool you; she still thoroughly enjoys writing poetry, and some have been written on her own time, just for fun. She hopes to eventually create a real anthology, potentially with the idea of entering several poetry contests. "What's the Deal with Labels?" and "MACK" are currently featured in her entry for BookCreator's poetry competition of 2023. "What's the Deal with Labels?" will be featured as her dramatic poem as well. This was also read in a slam performance in her school. "MACK" was entered into a publishing contest and is now featured in a "Quilted" anthology.

    > Toxic Mindset is not just a poem - it's a mirror held up to a broken culture. In this raw and brutally honest piece, I reflect on the deep-seated contradictions in Filipino society: insecurity, fake admiration, unfair expectations, and misguided values. This is for everyone who's ever felt judged for who they are, or who they aren't. Don't let the system define you. Be who you are. Look in the mirror - and find yourself.

"Walking in 23-through the valleys, through the shadows, with no fear of evil. Every step carries legacy, every move honors purpose. From the courts of basketball legends to the paths we walk in life, 23 is more than a number-it's strength, resilience, and awakening."

Step into my world, where every street, every corner, every house holds buried pain no one dares speak of. Walk with me as I feel the echoes of history, the weight of forgotten stories, and the unspoken grief carried through generations. Miss Hazel guides me, showing the hidden truths behind library chairs where children never came, closed doors where dreams were denied, and houses heavy with history I can feel in my bones. The city whispers sorrow, yet arrogance walks freely, ignorance thrives, and fake energy tries to hide behind smiles. I speak, I shout, I rise - untamed, unapologetic, unstoppable. Every glance, every encounter, every shadow I pass fuels the fire of my voice, the rage of the present, and the awareness of the past. This is my energy. This is my truth. This is me, unapologetically walking through history and reality alike.

Step into a journey where silence speaks louder than words, and the sky holds the weight of unspoken truths. Between Silence and the Sky is a raw, unfiltered exploration of grief, love, and resilience-a testament to the power of memory, music, and emotion. Each poem is a window into moments that shape us: the fleeting beauty of time spent with loved ones, the piercing ache of loss, the quiet strength found in reflection, and the whispers of ancestors guiding us through life's most difficult trials. From tears shed alone to moments of triumph and clarity, this collection captures the tension between sorrow and hope, between despair and purpose. These poems honor the voices that came before, the relationships that define us, and the personal battles we fight in silence. They are a bridge between past and present, grief and healing, silence and sound, carrying the reader through the depths of vulnerability and the heights of understanding. Every line is a pulse, every story a heartbeat-a reminder that even in solitude, we are never truly alone, and that our legacy, like the sky above, stretches beyond what the eyes can see.

She couldn't cry out, so she wrote. When the weight of the world silences her voice, the pen speaks. When the heart can't carry more, the pages do. When I Can't, the Pen Bleeds is a soul-baring collection of poems born from sorrow, betrayal, and the quiet ache of being unheard. In these verses, the author pours out the truths she never said aloud-the heartbreaks that shattered her, the lessons etched into her skin by a world that turned cold, and the strength she found in her own reflection. This is a journey through trauma, survival, and self-reclamation. With every bleeding word, she stitches herself back together. Perfect for anyone who's ever felt too much, lost too deeply, or needed a place to let their own pain breathe. Not all bleeding is visible. Some drips from the heart onto paper. #WhenICantThePenBleeds

"The Author of My Story" is a raw and introspective poem capturing the struggle of self-worth and the weight of internal battles. I grapple with feelings of losing value, drifting in despair, and being trapped by their thoughts. Despite the darkness, there's a fierce determination to carve their own path and be the "author of my path." It's a powerful expression of resilience amidst emotional turmoil.

    > We are not just one self-we are layers. This poem explores my three faces: Bejie, the quiet and fragile one. Jemar, the man of truth, principle, and professionalism. And Lonewolf, my rebel poet alter ego-confident, wild, and wounded. This is a confession, a reflection, a rebellion. This is the real me.
