This time a notebook has fallen into the hands of a brilliant sadist whose only goal seems to be to drown the world in the blood of the innocent. The young man knows that he can't defeat this new enemy on his own. The previous L's death and his short partnership with Mello have proved that much. But now... Who can Near trust in this dawning of the shadows?
