This fanfiction takes place after where the manga ends. Emma has started her life anew with her big family once more. She tries her best to rekindle her bonds with the people who once meant the world to her, and rediscover herself in the process. However, Ray seems to be the only one who has trouble being friends with her. As he tries to come to terms with the fact that his relationship with her may not be the same anymore, he also realizes that he has started to see Emma in a new light. He finds his newfound feelings for her to be hard to swallow, especially when his other best friend Norman has liked her since childhood, and Emma herself doesn't remember how close they once were in the past. How does Emma see Ray anyway with no memories to affect her perception of him?

This is a story where Ray and Emma are mermaids, living with all their family in an orphanage taken care of by Isabella. Norman, on the other hand, is an investigator of marine life, and he has now been given the task of investigating a mermaid. What would happen when Norman's crew captures Emma? Leaving her alone, missing her family, and leaving Ray alone, searching for a million ways to get her back. Maybe he'll have to take some risks to find her and get her back, but he didn't care, as long as he could see that shining smile of hers again

She's a kind hearted and very high spirited girl, who always puts her family and friends before her own Benefits. ~~~ Ray is a young boy who also lives at Grace Field House, AND happens to be Emma's bestfriend, as well as her family. Though they are not related by blood. Their bond was still strong. ~~~ Now, Emma and Ray have been living at the same Orphanage for over 12 years together, along with the other Orphans at the House. Every day always passed by like the last, and it was normal... but as more time passed, Ray started to feel something more for Emma, with little warning if she felt it too.. ~~~ Now you can go jump right into the story and find out things for yourselves! Emma may be a bit dense... but can ray find a way to break through her unique perspective on things? and maybe... just maybe.. make her fall in love with him?..

Throughout the years, Ray and Emma have been side by side fighting for the peace that they long for. They're always together as they escape the Grace Field House and meet new people. Although, despite all these new experiences, the only one Ray could think about is his growing bond with Emma. A series where they realize that feelings have been growing between them as they go along their journey.
