But it seems that it's not the first time her father wouldn't listen. The dark fae prince is invited to the human kingdom on behalf of lady melody. Who thinks she made a deal with the dark fae king and queen to marry Marianna. Marianna is told to accompany the prince during his stay and convince him to marry her cousin. That would be a lie. Marianna finds out the truth and has to make a choice that can keep her family safe or destroy everything her mother had built.
