A random collection of all the beautiful thoughts, quotes, sayings and life lesson in general. Some which brought a smile on my face when I was down, some which gave me courage and strength, and some, which just made me happy. I hope that someday, someone who is in need of it, will stumble upon this collection and take a piece of me and the author with them, to help them through a rough patch. All the work belongs to the authors, this is just my personal collection of the ones which made me appreciate the beauty of the written word all over again.

The Fight never ends within the mind while darkness lives inside it. While some might argue that this is an illness that needs fixing, others may argue that there's nothing to fix. In defense of the ladder, what if becoming acquainted with the darkness in order to eliminate the fear of it and learn to maneuver in harmony would make walking through this life seem more desirable? Your friend is the Dark is the 4th allegory in the sick like us collection. This part outlines and compares literal darkness and the feeling of darkness.

The idea that addiction is a disease is a widely argued topic with huge supporters for either side. Addiction being a disease is a vast misconception from a portion of compiled studies that concluded it not as a disease, but a side effect of disease. Millions of people judge addicts as terrible and irresponsible without ever considering why or how they came to be that way. Not everyone was lucky enough to develop a calm mind from which escaping doesn't feel imperative. Addicted to what is the 2nd allegory in the sick like us collection providing secluded perspective on why addicts use, when it began, their justification, and how choice doesn't have as much to do with it as commonly believed. There are also comparisons of similarities between addicts, medical patients, and sober society. The opinions on this very touchy subject are uncommon but do provide insight to understanding something that can't be seen before judging others without knowing the battle.

"I'm kind of a hard person to be around." "Hard to be around? You're my favorite person, and don't forget that." Molly wasn't a people person. She didn't seem to be an anything person. Her and the world didn't work out together. Clara was a people person- charismatic, funny, and smooth, she could get what she wanted out of anyone with her words. Molly and Clara might have been meant for each other, but nothing that is meant to be seems to work out.

This is a collection of my emotional phases. Writing them down has helped me understand myself better , and accept the reality that I am not okay .... but I will be ! I will make sure of it.

I got inspired to write a story about the strongest typhoon in the world known as Typhoon Haiyan or known in the Philippines as Yolanda. I wasn't present during the event but I had the feeling I simply had to write my ideas down listening to the news internationally and locally. I know I shouldn't feel inspire but I am because I know they, as survivors, can stand up in their own feet if not now then tomorrow and as Filipinos, we will still smile and lend our hands to make sure they will stand up again. I would say this is my form of help as I am unable to give any financial assistance to the victims. But overall... However my ideas end... I hope you guys would appreciate it. Note: DO NOT COPY OR REPRODUCE WITHOUT MY CONSENT, AS THE AUTHOR AND THE OWNER. DO NOT BE RUDE AS IT IS NOT YOUR IDEAS AND AS RESPECT TO THE SURVIVORS AND VICTIMS. Narration is in English while the dialogue is in Filipino to maintain the Philippine essence. If you get confuse, just comment and I will respond asap. :) PrincessThirteen00™ All Rights Reserved © 2013

Nobody understands, nobody wants to hear. Some people listen but it's hard to get the point across properly when all the thoughts going on at the same time are hard to differentiate and form into a single thought process to say out loud. Most will say there's nothing wrong because everything seems fine, words are forming in full sentences, demeanor seems normal, and feeling so sad is normal sometimes. If there were a way to explore a sick mind that looks normal from the outside, would it be worth the effort to try to understand? If there were some way to see through the eyes of someone with psychological struggles that are hard to explain and virtually invisible, wouldn't it be easier to interact with and help those people? Sick like us is the first piece of a collection of allegories that are meant to bridge the communication gap between a less common perspective and a world that can't comprehend such an inconspicuous illness.
