When you were young, you would go over to her casita occasionally and that's where you met Camilo. You two started up a friendly rivalry and would often play competitive games together. However, once you get older, you start to see the gaping cracks in the Madrigal family and soon those cracks start to appear on their casita as well. The magic is dying and everyone believes that Mirabel is to blame. Can you help your best friend to fix her families bond, save the magic and the village and keep yourself together all while trying to figure out how you truly feel about the shape-shifting Camilo? All characters and plot belong to Disney except for Elian and some of the people they know, the plot is only altered in a minor way. She did everything she was told, in order for everyone to stop stressing while she herself was falling apart. So her father moved them away from the house they grew up in with their brother. To get away from the memories in every dark corner of the house. She strives to be like her brother. He was golden. He was loved by all and very social with everyone. Sadly that last part was a challenge for her. Now with her brother gone, her comfort person had vanished, and she was stuck with herself. Nobody else was the same. She was falling deeper and deeper, until he reached his hand out, and caught her. It's challenging, will he get her out of her own mind? Or will he give up and let go like everyone else..? Destiny - My character insert. Destiny is 15, along with Camilo and Mirabel. (Picrew of her in the first chapter.) Destiny grew up in Encanto with her mom and 2 siblings, Fia (13 years old) and Jay (10 years old). Her father left shortly after Jay was born, so she had to be the "fatherly figure" for her siblings. Their mother is never really home and is always tired after working long days and late nights for a job in another town that she just can't quit. In her free time, Destiny spends time with the Madrigals and can't help but fall in love with Camilo. . . . This is my first fan fiction, so please excuse any mistakes. I'll try my best to match their personalities! (If you want, just pretend you're Destiny, because I don't know how to write y/n stories, yet.) Please let me know if you like this story.
