Before his death, Halliday had a son who was named (Y/N). No one knows when he was able to have a child but there he was. He gave (Y/N) a choice of a character model that would be unique to him and he simply chose "The Ghost Rider", specifically Johnny Blaze. The gamer tag that (Y/N) would use would be known as "Flame Reaper". When Halliday passed, (Y/N) took his frustration and sorrow out on the players who were on planet doom, earning his notorious reputation. After he slaughtered every player on planet doom, the day was noted as one of the bloodiest and terrible days in Oasis. Wherever he would go, his very presence invoked fear into any players of oasis who crossed his path. He set out to solve his father's Easter egg and even found all three keys but before he could claim the egg, he vanished. His score vanished off of the leaderboard with him, leaving many to believe that the son of Halliday disappeared and the "Flame Reaper" was no more. One day the player known as "Parzival" is banished onto a desert planet similar to Tatooine by IOI, and runs into the notorious "Flame Reaper".

Jason, also known in the Oasis as 'Hades', and his friend 'Parzival', are obsessed with the virtual world. They would rather stay there than be in the awful real world of 2045. Now they have to find an easter egg in a race against other players in 3 challenges While IOI tries to take them out. Now them and Aech have to get the easter egg to get Halliday's fortune and control of the Oasis. But along the way they meet Art3mis. Then Jason starts to fall. Jason also happens to not live with his dad.

The Oasis, a wonderful Sci-Fi VR Game made by Gregarious Games in December of 2025 (Oh Gods, if only....) it was a breakout success and one of the hallmarks of its time. Naturally, some of the suits wanted a sequel even if the Oasis was practically endless and had limitless potential for expansion. So Halliday took a page out of Sword Art Online's book and made a Fantasy Themed Game where Swords were king and guns sucked ass. Why'd he do this? Well, other than the Big Wigs' commands he also listened to the fans.....because the Fantasy themed planet in the Oasis was the one that turned into Planet Doom.....so uh....yeah. Thus birthed Oasis: Fantasy Edition. Fast Forward to Halliday's death message and the announcing of the Easter Eggs, the 2 sister games were split up and bought by different companies. When the announcement was finished, all players in Fantasy Edition went into a coma but the game and their player characters stayed active. The only way those poor people could get out of the video game was to find the Easter Egg....but that was easier said than done. Can the players find the egg and escape the game? Or will they remain forever trapped as their families tend to their slowly decaying bodies?

A group of business prodigies believe that humanity's outlook on like will be their downfall so they hire a group of scientists and computer programmers to create a brain chip that will allow them to code kidnapped children's brains. These children grow up within a virtual reality without knowing. Lines of code are inserted into their brains to change the way they think by coders when their opinions aren't aligned with those of the founders. Victoria is one of these children. Virtual Reality gaming has come to the forefront of the gaming scene, but when the top VR developer announces a fully immersive E-Sports tournament with incredible prizes, with their brand new software called the Axis, James must play. How much will Dan be changed, by his own search? A game-within-a-game or a simulated homage to the natural world? This srory is the second book of the War of the Planets series, a Ready Player One story. This follows the time after Art3mis, Parzival, Aech and Zombastik have been friends for a while when they are faced with problems that they have to solve in order to stay in the game... And ultimately, survive in the real world.

After winning the contest, Wade is at a loss. He's spent what seems like his entire life searching for the egg, and now that he's found it, he has no idea what to do with his life. So when he receives an invitation to join the biggest and most well-known gang in the OASIS, The Toxic Arrow, he jumps at the chance. And then he meets Toxicious. One of the heads of the Toxic Arrow, Wade is entranced by her immediately. What will happen the more they spend time together? I do not own Ready Player One or any of its characters.
