I wrote this short story for the National Geographic #PlanetOrPlastic writing contest. My story is written in the format of a epistolary - a series of letters. It follows five people's correspondence to friends and relatives throughout the history of modern plastics use, from the 1946 National Plastics Expo to a time in the near future when plastic and other types of pollution and debris threaten to destroy the Earth's oceans and throw awry the balance of gases in the atmosphere, temperature and weather patterns, and varied marine species' food chains, to a point where there is no chance to turn back. I hope you enjoy my story and that it inspires you to rethink your role in protecting our Earth and its indispensable marine habitats!

I wrote another story called girl online but my acc got deleted so here i am starting another one. It's mainly gonna be about my life and stuff but I might put some open discussion chapters where we all discuss something together!

Throughout the years, Levi was alone. Had no one to go to, no one to talk to since he has had past history of old friends abandoning him. Until he met Hange. Hange made Levi into a "new" man. He was happy. Never felt alone. He actually felt loved and important for once in his life. That was, until things took a turn for the worst. He doubted his gut feeling of Hange leaving him for a new person, but Hange convinced him otherwise. Just exactly how long would it take for Levi to be replaced and get abandoned? Leaving him. Just like everyone else did.

I knew one wrong movement, breathe, or utter of a word he didn't like could possibly be the end to me to us. I felt like I was my own guardian angel watching over myself carefully watching how my breathe clumped in my throat. I saw my eyes widen and lips go dry. I felt my heart fall.
