Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian had bought an apartment together and had started to build a home for themselves. And a good home needs to have a living room with a comfortable couch to snuggle on. This is a story of how the two of them are getting one. Inspired by real events - this fic is basically a description of my own experience while buying a couch. I leave it up to you if you want to follow the same path. If not, I hope this will serve as a warning of what can go wrong during this mundane task. English is not my first language so I apologize in advance for any mistakes. I am also not very familiar with chinese culture, customs nor naming conventions so this work may in some places not be 100% accurate. I do not own any characters I have used in my story, this is purely a work of fan fiction. Hope you will enjoy reading :)

Fifteen-year-old Amara always suspected the truth. With a diabetic mother and a younger sister diagnosed at just seven, the monthly blood sugar tests in their house were more than routine - they were warnings. And when her own results finally tipped too high, the quiet fear she had lived with became her reality: Amara has Type 2 diabetes. But what should have been a moment of care and support turns into something quieter, heavier. Her little sister's Type 1 diagnosis had changed the entire family dynamic years ago - insulin shots, alarms, daily check-ins. Amara's own condition, less dramatic but just as life-altering, becomes a secret burden she carries alone. Her mother, long silent about her own struggles, expects Amara to adapt - to be strong, to be stable, to be the one who holds everything together. And with her grandparents still in the dark, Amara is forced to pretend she's fine, even as she quietly mourns the life she had before. Through blood tests and heartbreak, small rebellions and quiet revelations, Prick by Prick traces Amara's journey toward acceptance - not just of her condition, but of herself. It's a story of invisible strength, unspoken love, and what it really means to grow up when your body betrays your expectations. Because sometimes, the path to healing isn't loud. It's slow. Measured. Prick by prick. ©June 2025

Some days she remembers my name. Some days she remembers only the warmth of my hand. But every day, I remember her. When her mother no longer recognizes her, a daughter faces the slow, heartbreaking reality of Alzheimer's. The woman who once held a family together with love, strength, and grace is fading - memory by memory. This is a story about presence over recognition, about love that survives even when the mind cannot. Through moments of laughter, brief flashes of clarity, and the quiet ache of loss, she learns that real connection is measured not by memory, but by devotion, compassion, and the courage to stay. "When Memories Fade, Love Remains" is a journey of grief, hope, and the unbreakable bond between mother and daughter - a reminder that even as memories slip away, love persists.

They went to bury the dead... but ended up facing the living legends of fear. In the pitch-dark heart of a village haunted by myths and whispered warnings, a group of mourners finds themselves stuck after a burial. What begins as a simple mechanical breakdown turns into an unforgettable night filled with ghost sightings, spiritual prayers, stolen maize, comedy, fear, and a chase that almost split their souls from their bodies. From half-assembled coasters to fake cannibals, confused wigs, and heroic prayers, The Night We Buried the Living and Walked the Dead captures the chaos, unity, and absurd laughter that only Ugandan village nights can deliver. A true tale of faith, fear, and friendship under a full moon. If you've never run from your own shadow or prayed for a car's soul to be healed-this story will take you there.

An actual experience I had years back when I was trying to sleep, I felt this pressure on my torso and I couldn't breathe while it was on me, it was like someone was sitting on me, but nothing was in my room and I was terrified to move, all I wanted to do was keep my eyes open to make sure nothing was around me, but I still felt as if something was still lurking in my room.

"Growing up in someone else's shadow taught me one thing: finding myself was the hardest-and most beautiful-journey of all." School was supposed to be easy-a place to learn, laugh, and grow. But for her, it quickly became anything but simple. 🌿 Everyone around her seemed brighter, bolder, better. Every whispered compliment, every small success she didn't have, made her question herself. Slowly, the shadow of comparison began to follow her everywhere. Then college arrived-bigger, more dazzling, and full of surprises she never saw coming. Friendships that challenged her, choices that tested her, and moments that made her heart ache in ways she didn't expect. Could she navigate this new world without losing herself? From quiet school corridors to late-night reflections, from self-doubt to self-discovery, this story is about growing up, facing unexpected twists, and finding the courage to step out of the shadows. If you loved "The Goodbye We Never Said," you'll recognize the familiar struggles and heartfelt moments-and maybe even find yourself rooting for her as she learns to shine in her own light.
