This is about a real friendship about to be tested. Will love destroy their friendship? Will they survive?

Emma is finally living the life she always wanted. She has the dream job, the independent lifestyle, and she lives in the exact foreign country and city she used to daydream about. But getting here wasn't a smooth or perfect fairytale. Growing up, Emma was far from the perfect ideal of a "normal" girl. She was beautifully chaotic, struggled heavily with self-doubt, and was constantly underestimated. She wasn't someone who had it all figured out; she was just a girl navigating life with a small, close-knit group of friends and a supportive, loving family. For years, her biggest goal was to move abroad and build a life entirely on her own terms-a dream that often felt too big, too intimidating, and completely out of reach for someone as full of fear as she used to be. Now, looking back through her memories from the eighth grade all the way to her current adulthood, she reflects on her evolution. It is a realistic, step-by-step journey of a girl who had to find her own footing, outgrow her self-doubt, and face the real challenges of moving to a new country. Ultimately, she discovers that building your independence from scratch is a tough, raw, but incredibly rewarding adventure.

Just a rant

I got bored, made this, it's based off the song Sixteen by Real Friends, you should check it out before you read this but if you don't want to that's fine, I've thrown lyrics in there so it will still make sense.

Emilia Parker feels lost and doesn't know what to do about it. She doesn't want to change who she is but in order to make something of herself that's exactly what she needs to do. But the day that Ricky Santos fails at something, is the day that pigs sprout wings and fly, so whether the world likes it or not... David is GETTING that date. David's life is about to get a whole lot classier. (Prepare yourself for mayhem.)
