I was always the wierd one, the one that everyone picked on. I only realised this a little ways into high school, when it was being brought up more by my friends, people similar to me. They pointed out things I didnt know were wierd, were things "normal people" didnt experience. Soon, we start to trace things back, and look at things through a different light.
A/N, this is based in my experience growing up as a low support needs autistic, making my own accomodations and taking no issue with what people did to me, thinking it was perfectly normal. This story begins when Syn is newly 14, with (fucking finally) a healthy friend group, and a formal diagnosis. (a privilege I still do not have)
