Real life based tales that tells a story similar to that of most children and teenagers in this day and age. Please feel free to submit your stories to me. Everything can be anonymous. The point of this book is to share weight off your shoulders and to let people know they aren't alone.

The first word that people always choose to describe black women is "strong" which is true. However, we're not always strong. We're often expected to keep a smile on our face even when we're so busy struggling with carrying the world on our shoulders. Literally. We're not expected to have any kind of reactions. Or feelings. But we can only play the "superwoman" role for so long. Eventually we'll breakdown. Due to so many things that are already breaking us down.
