As we live our lives we are surrounded by news. Some of it is good and some of it is bad but it rarely directly affects our daily routine other than a moment of unhappiness. Jack finds that life as a young immortal is as normal as anyone else. But normalcy can be disrupted in many different ways.

Mrs Lee gave her a little evil smirk. "Told you that you'll get into trouble with the principal but you never listened, look where your stupid stubbornness led you to" she let out a small chuckle. "You got yourself into this shitty mess that you can't get your fucking ass out of!" She said it with such a deadly and straight face not breaking eye contact. A teenage girl gets stumbled over by puberty and adolescence, and winds up having sex with the wrong guy, she decides to reveal herself as someone no-one at all had ever thought. Shanitella makes the wrong decision leaving her boyfriend and has to face the consequences of breaking a heart, for different sex. She is given a choice as to how she would love to live her life but doesn't realise that everything that goes perfectly is just always a dream, more perfection is only hidden beneath the tiny lie she lives without realizing until she finally steps out from the curtain. From being what she is not, she then comes out from hiding.

My best friend did the impossible and became the President, but now that they're making changes, the country is falling into civil unrest. This country was never going to be ready for a president like them, and the social atmosphere if proof of that. Between the assassination attempts, the not-so-subtle racism, and the already present stress of the job itself, Themba has their hands full.

What could go wrong? Well, Aubrey now has to keep her superhero identity a secret from the entire St. Louis police department, which gets even more difficult since the Captain of police proclaimed they want to catch Mystique. She has to fight off bad guys, that suddenly have powers, and who seem to have an interest in her. And she has to socialize with people. Daily. Yeah, easy peasy.
