This story is a dream of a young boy who wants a change in his repetitious life. This is a story which has parts based off of my life and other parts based from my fantasy. I would also like to say that this is my first story.

How blunt is reality? Very much, I suppose. Every single line which will be written in the book will drip with the harsh reality. A pain so hard that you'll feel it. It's about a girl who as all of us, goes through shit. Real shit. Or maybe more than anyone else had been through. Life just doesn't work out for some people. There are times when we feel so much of emotion that it hurts. It hurts so much that you start thinking how will it be to not feel? And to not feel means... You know what it means. Not a cliche love story. Not a story of a nerd and a bad boy. No, definitely not. But a journey, where you'll know how it feels to know what a person goes through when they fail in everything. Not exaggerating, but everything. The first failure in school. The first failure in life. The first failure in love. The first failure in family. And everyone's nightmare, the first failure in friendship. Strong heart.

I completely fell in love with the show Julie and the Phantoms, and more specifically, Charlie Gillespie. Yes, this is a fanfic about him, because he is amazing and I'm just a teenage girl crushing over some guy who doesn't even know I exist. I'm sorry if this is bad, you don't have to read it if you don't like it. I just wanted to try writing a story instead of just reading them. "My life is no Jhon Green novel. I don't have a boyfriend. I am NOT popular. I am the nerd/emo girl. this is my life, like it or not. I have to deal with what I am. all I want in life is to get far, far away. and this is my chance." Lea is entering high school and just like anybody else she's scared shitless. High school is supposed to be the place where we find ourselves. it's either the worst or the best years of our lives. and we can all understand what that's like.

There are a lot of last chances in life. Like the last piece of pie at thanksgiving or the last treadmill at the gym, maybe even the last notebook at the store that you don't really need but you don't want to leave just one. Those are the types of last chances that don't matter in life. There happen to be last chances that may change your life forever like telling that boy from english that you like him or telling that girl from physics that you think she has the prettiest eyes you have ever seen. Maybe even being the girl who has been rejected countless times and you you're still there for the boy who doesn't deserve you. Yes these are all high school problems but what do you expect out of a teen fiction book?
