It's a time of peace in the galaxy, and the United Collective Nexus is attempting to boost commerce and travel through a televised program exploring the various planets. Five young adults have been selected to join the UCN VIKING, and they each must share responsibilities on the ship, and cooperate with each other as they travel among the stars. Set far into the future, this dialogue focused story follows the characters as they travel, interact, and live their lives together.

300 years ago, the Earth died. But humans didn't. They adapted, innovated, and rebuilt. Now, their cities tower over the ancient mountains, gleam like the shine of distant stars, and allow those who remain to live. But things are still precarious, even if they seem perfect to the regular citizen. Not everyone got to safety in time. Those that remained were changed...now monsters lurk in the mists below the cities. But not every beast remains safely outside - some are much closer to home.
