Basically, there is this boy that really wants to be known. He encounters many obstacles to get what he wants. But when he gets his 'wish' it turns out to be other things that he's unaware of.

Eso sí, antes que nada les advierto que no sé exactamente por qué dije lo que dije en la primer parte del comentario, así que no sean sensibles. Fue una micro-etapa de agresividad e inconsciencia (aún así, no puedo decir que no lo disfruté). Un poco de contexto. Primero de todo, el comentario original también es de mi propiedad. Originalmente "posteado" (argh, palabras millenials) cómo un comentario en un video de YouTube, el mismo arranca cómo cualquier otro comentario, absolutamente aleatorio, pero lentamente la parte crítica de mi personalidad comienza a tomar control de mí (tanto física cómo mentalmente), pasando por una corta etapa agresiva y estúpida, terminando con un pensamiento que me acecha cada asqueroso día de mi vida. Si alguien comparte mi pensamiento loco, por favor hágamelo saber. No sólo porque estoy seguro de que no estoy solo en el mundo, sino porque también podrías ser mi alma gemela, y no me refiero precisamente a una relación romántica.

A woman goes into a bakery to buy a strawberry cream cake. Another customer comes in. The woman tells the new arrival that she is buying her son a treat for his birthday. Every year she buys him his favourite cake; but her son died in an accident when he was six, twelve years ago. From this beginning, weaves a dark and twisted narrative that pulls together a seemingly disconnected cast of characters. A slice of life that is resplendent in its chaos, enthralling in its passion and chilling in its cruelty.

Everything is based off real events however names have been changed and places too. Everything changed from the moment Emilia's parents got a divorce when she was one. Not everything was for better or for worse.

I hope to enlighten others and to share relatable and not-so-relatable experiences with this book.
