Breathingeasy
Deborah Welsh is a silent, observant and emotional 17-year old, who tends to cling onto past events after they have already occurred. While she prepares for her SAT's, she experiences her first love, her first heartbreak, her first kiss, her first failures- all while juggling schoolwork and keeping her parents satisfied with her work. Despite her tumultuous social life, Deborah is determined to make each relationship last, each moment worthwhile and every interaction important. Keep in mind that she is a human, and not all of her decisions are reasonable, but what's more important, are the lessons we learn from our mistakes.
There isn't a male lead.
Just a wacky, hormone-high teenage girl.

'Deborah...', he whispered, his arms wrapped all warm and snuggly around my waist. I couldn't hold myself back. My hands reached out for his face, and before I could react, he pulled me into a kiss. My first kiss. I didn't know where to place my hands, legs- everything was jelly! It felt like a sweet release, like, I was born for this. My hands travelled down from his neck to his waist, to which he let out a low moan into my ear. I shuddered with the pleasure from the heat of his breath. It was electric and enchanting- our tongues clashed and danced, his lips tasted like heaven. He picked me up without stopping, his fingers digging into my shorts, and gently dropped me on the bed. Climbing on top of me, he said, 'I am not done yet, you know.'
I had no idea what kind of an expression my face was making, but whatever it was turned him on. 'I was hoping you weren't.'
