A story about life after life and how it's possible to work through it. A story of the magical and the mundane. A story of an ancient curse and how it, somehow, still had its benefits. A woman writes to her younger sister a confession and warning in the 18th century from the University of Ingolstadt. This was a story whipped up due to the prompt: "Write a story from the last text you sent" The text I had to base my short story off of was "Run from Kevin"

SPOILER WARNING If you have NOT finished Shippuden, do NOT read this story. Like, there are death spoilers that will probably make you upset. This story takes place in the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations timeline some time before Kawaki is introduced. It's an average day in Konohagakure.... The streets are peaceful, the sky is clear, the sun is bright, and Naruto is Hokage. Everything is fine until he finds out that Sasuke visits his brother's grave everytime he comes home. Naruto decides that it is his job to allow the people to say their proper goodbyes to deceased loved ones... It doesn't go exactly as planned, but it's all okay-dattebayo! Built by the immunes, away from the diseased; a group of sanctuaries in the air. Novacaeli, a five settlement nation lies just above Down. Born from the ruins of the Great Plague it harbours the immunes, the genetically blessed and all of their toys. The immunes left the diseased with the promise to find a cure and welcome those who escaped the clutches of the Plague into their sanctuaries. But no one from Down has ever set foot in Novacaeli, or even heard from the ones who promised to save them. With the remnants of the Plague slowly working its way through the population, the people of Down fear the inevitable; the Wipe Out. The only way to to prevent it? Harnessing the immunes' greatest invention, their favourite toy.
