It all started one rainy night with a shadow outside Caroline's window. A girl had gone missing months before, another the same night. Odd things start happening around Caroline and to her. With Batman now dead, Alfred (Batman's personal butler and helper) cryofreezes Batman's body as to not have it decaying while he develops new technology to bring his master back to life. Meanwhile, Joker gets his hands on Batman's suit as well as his wealth and power over Gotham. Destruction happens everywhere while Joker is in power. After years of failed tests, Alfred finally manages to invent a machine that can bring anyone back to life, with the catch of it needing a life of another. Alfred sacrifices himself in order to bring his master back to life so he can bring back the true Gotham. After Batman's awakening, he swears on his life and existence to rid of Joker and save Gotham.
