It's been four months since MK was blasted away, and Ne Zha has yet to find him. Mei and Red Son set off on their own to find him, soon followed by Pigsy, Tang, and Ne Zha. After they accidentally meet up, they find information about MK from a... less than reputable source and find themselves captured by a dangerous tribe of primitive warriors. Meanwhile, MK - still amnesiac and known as Yíshī de - is starting to get restless in the little village. He says goodbye to the good family that let him stay with them and promises to never forget them as he sets off to find his memories again. In the Celestial Realm, Monkey King - against the wishes of Ne Zha and Li Jing - manages to get out of bed and get himself to the mortal plane so he can find MK himself.

After the events of "Dragon Spine: Dawn of a new world" Dragon Spine granted Fared's wish for a better world and she returned to where she came. however she fell into a serious coma and may never wake up, however, miracles DO happen.

The shadows of our past, like a sadistic snake, constricts around our hearts at its very mention. When we dwell on it, we give it the power to control our current and future relationships in our lives. This could be avoiding a lover, pushing away family members or falling under addiction once again because the past whispers lies into your ear about your unworthiness, how you are defective and too damaged. Then society begins to feed those lies with their misunderstanding of your afflictions, until the point that you have to hide them. I wish it was as easy as shoving the past in a box and throwing it off a bridge or telling it to shut its fat mouth, but sometimes its not, sometimes there are scars that are just too deep...
