How would anyone describe this feeling - a knot in your stomach but you're not hungry. A numbness in your brain, but you're not tired. A piercing pain in your heart, but you're not heartbroken. I guess I'm tired, or maybe sick. I feel alone, but I'm not lonely. I don't crave another human's touch, but I crave soft-spoken words late at night, for reassurance.
