Nolon and Winifred, her godparents. They take her in with no hesitation and raise her in the Healer's Quadrant, where they both work. She's dedicated her life to the Healers but longs to help fight. To avenge her parents. She's in her second year when she meets a boy who is the complete opposite of her. He's constantly coming into the infirmary and flipping her quiet, studious, calm life on its head. He can't seem to leave her alone. Riorson's Daughter is a Fourth Wing fanfic. The Story is based around Kaia Riorson. 17 years old, Kaia is the youngest rider to enter the Quadrant. but not by choice. Kaia is a marked one, and even more so the nine years younger sister to Xaden Riorson, and daughter to the Tyrish rebellion leader Fen Riorson. It was not her choice to cross the Parapet so young, and let alone with her condition; Hypoglycaemia. a condtion which can lead to serious blood sugar drops. and not only that but Xaden haas lied to everyone. About Kaia. They don't even know she exists until she steps off the Parapet... Kaia's story was inspired by many things, the urge to want to write, to want to be a part of the world Rebecca Yarros created and a way to show myself that I can do something great. Kaia has the same condition that I do, and luckily I've never had to go through the things that Kaia has with Hypoglycaemia, but lots of it is based off personal experience.

This story is loosely based on the story Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros. It was my main inspiration for creating this, but I did not copy any of her characters or dragons. I tried to keep the story as original and far away from Rebecca's book as possible. There might be some things that look alike, since it is not possible to make everything different. This book will likely have some form of adult content in the future, either in the form of sexual intercourse or death and/or major injuries. This story does not have a full storyline yet. I'm writing and making things up as I go. It will be a story about Dragons and Vesper, who has to take the 'Dreamless Sleep' which is a Test, to be chosen by a Dragon.
