In the aftermath of the Clone Wars and the deaths of the Jedi Order, a shutdown signal was sent to all Battle Droids units throughout the Galaxy, effectively putting an end to the Clone Wars. In addition, the Galactic Republic was reorganised into the First Galactic Empire, and Chancellor Palpatine, who is actually the Sith Lord, Darth Sidious, establishes himself as Emperor, putting an end to democracy and creating a new era of fear, corruption and tyranny that would last over a decade. Unknown to Palpatine, one group of Kaminoans anticipated his betrayal. In the possibility that Palpatine would betray them, the Kaminoans fled to the Unknown Regions to oversee a contingency plan, to reconstruct the Clone Army. Hidden in a secret facility on the remote planet, Meridia, located in the Unknown Regions. the Kaminoan Scientist, Tuma Se, planned to have the young Jedi Knight, Jack Trevelyan, led the of the new Clone Army. Entering cryo-stasis to preserve his youth, Jack would reawaken once the time comes. In time, the Clone Army will return to resume its new purpose: free the Galaxy from the corruption of the Empire. While flying through space, a civilian ship flies in the Tatooine System, and get caught in the crossfire between the Rebel Aliiance and the Empire. Many are killed, and only nine young men survived. They managed to get on escape pods, and head down into the planet of Tatooine. The force has guided them to a hidden power source in a cave on the planet. There didn't seem to be much hope for Rena, but Luke was willing to try anything. He'd been trying for three whole years, but she never seemed to stay in one place long enough for him to find her. Now, he was ready. Leia found out that she was on Mustafar, not too far from where they were. Before Luke even reached her, Rena held her lightsaber up and swung toward him. - Takes place right after Return of the Jedi, if Vader and the Emperor had lived and the Alliance lost the war.

This has forced the group of freedom fighters led by Luke Skywalker and Steve Rogers into hiding. They seek to find a way to steal the Infinity Gauntlet back from Emperor Vader to reverse the damage to the world he and the deceased Thanos caused. The Rebellion seek to sneak past the dreaded Imperial Starfleet protecting Emperor Vader to accomplish this mission. However unbeknownst to the Rebels the evil Emperor Vader is obsessed with finding young Skywalker. Vader is using his Infinity Gauntlet as bait to lure in Luke Skywalker to ensure he will help him rule the planet alongside him as crown prince and his Sith apprentice.

Various factions of Avengers work with the Rebel Alliance to defeat the Empire and Thanos's forces to prevent Earth from being a victim of Thanos's finger snap or the Death Star's destructive power. It's at this time Obi Wan Kenobi tells Luke Skywalker about his destiny as the one who will save everyone and that he was hidden from the Empire for 19 years to ensure that this will happen.
