But the gang members will occasionally come to the small farm where they live and take supplies or take a rest from being pursued by law. Around a year and a half earlier, Holly met a man. Devlin Riley. Devlin is a Texas Ranger. He p and Holly fall in love and marry, and Holly has a baby, Owen. For the period of time that Devlin is a part of their lives, there is some stability for Holly and Jessie. He provides for them financially, and when the family gang of outlaws find out she is married to a lawman, they keep their distance for a while. Holly contacts influenza and dies. This story takes place after that, when baby Owen is about seven months old.

I heard footsteps- no a stampede of them dash at me from behind as I took in a breath of air, that tainted air I once thought was so sweet. I turned back at the people who looked at me as if I was the monster and yelled to them, "SEE THE TRUTH! SEE REALITY! SEE YOURSELF!" Alys needs to break free from her, city-her world- her "district". Everything is "perfect" but she starts to realize things are off in her fairy tale dream. The dream where you are told what and who to be, born right into a mold. I've spent 8 years writing this story I wanted to give readers a piece very touching and personal, enabling them to learn about new culture but also inviting them into a deep introspection about universal matters that concerns all human experience, so it can be only natural and easy to identify with the main character even know he's from a completely different world or maybe not that much.... The story is originally in French and Creole, I'll be doing the translation myself...I hope It'll be accurate enough...
