I won the Hunger Games once. They called me a Victor, but I know better. The Capitol took everything from me, my family, the boy I loved, even the right to call myself alive. I tried to disappear into the quiet: the bottle, the piano, the years between Games. But you can't hide from the world when it's burning. Then came a girl on fire, a spark that refused to die. And somewhere between her defiance and the Quarter Quell, I remembered what it felt like to fight back. This is my story. From the day I was reaped to the day the war ended. From a blood-soaked arena to the long silence after the revolution. Because in the Hunger Games, there are no winners. Only survivors. (68th games-Epilogue in Mockingjay) *I don't own the Hunger Games all rights of the original work go to Suzanne Collins. I only own the original characters that I have included in TINW.*

💙 Maynard High: Awkward Blue 💙 "He's running from legacy. She's fighting to be believed. Both are closer to the truth than they should be." Kael Lance was born into power, expectation, and control. When he finally pushes back, he's sent to Maynard High, a remote boarding school where discipline is strict, rules are absolute... and students don't always make it out. Siobhan Wildes has spent her time at Maynard trying to survive, its pressure, its silence, and the way people like her are easily pushed aside. But when she gets her hands on something she was never meant to see, she learns the truth: At Maynard, people don't just hide the truth, they disappear. And the ones who ask too many questions are next. As strange patterns begin to surface and reality starts to blur, Kael and Siobhan are pulled into something far bigger than school rules or social hierarchy. Because at Maynard, knowledge comes with a cost, and once you see it, there's no going back. In a world where secrets are controlled, loyalty is tested, and even your closest allies might turn on you, survival isn't about strength. It's about knowing when to look away. ...and when it's already too late. For fans of dark academia, boarding school drama, psychological horror, a little sports drama and slow-burn tension. When Rowan Callahan buys a strange "memory bag" at a local fundraiser, she expects old keepsakes, not a mystery that seems to know her name. Inside are a handful of forgotten objects: a locket, dried meadowsweet, a pipe-scented wooden box, and a battered old book filled with handwritten notes and an unsettling inscription addressed directly to her. What begins as curiosity soon draws Rowan into the shadowed history of Dúnlaragh Castle, where a ruined chapel hides more than stone and dust, and the past seems to linger just beneath the surface of the present. As she follows the trail of clues through old letters, half-truths, and family silences, she discovers that memory in Dúnlaragh is not only preserved - it is alive. But the deeper Rowan goes, the less certain the world around her becomes. A hidden stair beneath the chapel. A voice from another century. A man whose notes suggest he may have been reaching across time. And a history that has been carefully buried, along with the people who might have told it differently. Set against the wild beauty of the Irish coast and the eerie pull of an old house with too many secrets, this is a story about grief, longing, and the impossible things that can still be found when the past refuses to stay silent. At the heart of it is one question Rowan cannot ignore: if history can be changed, what else might be waiting to answer back?
