That day was about three years ago. Though quite ironic, the day in question wasn't the day Tord left, but the day Tord came back. About three years ago, Tord came back to greet his old friends, his ulterior motives towering over his seemingly innocent intentions of "catching up". Things happened, and Tom didn't expect to see Tord for the next 10 years of his life at least.
