She placed her hand on the glass as she whispered into the phone, "Don't worry Kit, I know you are innocent...It's just a matter of time.." And although I have only known her for 27 hours and 32 minutes, I knew that I needed to trust her.

Julius Wolfgang is alone in the world, and he likes it that way. Secluded in the forests of Portland, Oregon, he truly thinks he will never have to leave his house. That is, until he receives a very peculiar urn in the mail. With the arrival of this inoffensive and mysterious gift, a heap of trouble blooms. Out of shadows, daydreams, and dead men, Julius begins to uncover a world that he is not prepared for. A world of mischief, order, and secrets. A world that will show him the truth for what it really is.

This gets him to question what's the point to any of the things that he has been doing. He starts to lose himself more and more as he can't find any meaning and eventually contemplates to put an end to his own life.

I wrote this story about a paranoid man who didn't like to leave his house, or even his living room, until a new neighbor exploits the cracks in his armor. It was for a competion. I lied about the dinosaurs.
