There, she comes across a group of wolves sworn to protect her, yet they will not tell her why. Next, enter Alpha Eric Bellator, Hadleigh's mate, yet just as secretive as the rest of them. Soon, Hadleigh finds herself knee deep in a plot against the entire species of werewolf and a greatness she never wished for is thrust upon her; she is the only hope for her kind, the only living witness to a series of massacres that have been continuously taking place for the past twenty years. The only problem? She doesn't remember a single detail of what happened the night she was nearly killed, and the fate of her species relies on it.
