The fallout of the nuclear plagued third world war. The calendar reads 3026, but it feels like the 1200s. The excessive destruction from the war has turned the clock back on the advancements of humanity. The way of life has reverted back to the medieval times, where a man made virus, used as a biological weapon by the US, has made majority of the population infertile. The children of those lucky enough to reproduce, are taken at birth, and auctioned off to the highest bidder. The Emperor's Emporium, is essentially a baby market, ran by the wealthiest and most powerful man to survive the war, Emperor Musk, former president of the US. Naz and Khola, a couple who are expecting a baby, find themselves on the brink of becoming a happy or torn apart family.

In death, those that created suffering are cursed to spend eternity suffering forever more, forever trapped, just past the Devil's door.
